kittel is not a commercial endeavour, but driven by value and the urge to address topics relevant to us all. By buying a piece from one of our editions you support the research, design and production of the next edition to come. We personally produce each edition with care in Berlin in small batches. We source our materials responsibly and avoid non-degradable fibres and materials. In the future we plan to opt for used materials where we can and remain agile in our practise to further move towards reducing our environmental impact.

As in every manual process, occasionally mistakes happen that might lead to imperfections. in our B-stock section we want to offer pieces with small production errors – that are nevertheless fit for use and of high material quality – for a reduced price. In the photos of each product you find examples of possible imperfections for reference, however please note that we do not document each item individually. None of the pieces have hard material defects, such as holes or tears. For reasons of capacity it is not possible to choose the colourway or pattern variation when ordering B-stock. B-stock is by no means an inferior product and we strongly stand against any waste of valuable and valued material due to a false sense of perfectionism.
